Eligibility of candidates from Disturbed Areas and States / Union Territories where there are no medical colleges. Candidates from Disturbed Areas - he / she must be
domicile of the area and
Should have passed MBBS from MCI recognised medical college from that area. He is required to submit necessary certificates for the above.
Candidates from States / Union Territories where there is no medical college - he /she should be
domicile of the area,
should have passed MBBS from MCI recognised medical college in India and
he/she should possess certificate stating that there is no MCI recognised medical college in State / Union Territories : issued by Director, Health Services / Health Secretary / Equivalent Authority. He / She is required to submit necessary certificates for the above.
The following candidates are Not eligible for applying : -
Candidates who have not obtained permanent MMC / MCI registration by the time of submission of application form for M.S. Ortho and Diploma courses .
Candidates who are previously registered and pursuing / completed the PG degree course or have obtained PG degree.
The application form should be accompanied by attested photocopies of following certificates : -
Nationality Certificate / Valid Passport
Certificate for Age (SSC passing Certificate)
First MBBS statement of Marks
Second MBBS Statement of Marks
Final MBBS Statement of Marks (Part - I & Part - II)
MBBS Degree. Passing Certificate
Attempt Certificates of all University Examinations
(First, Second, Third (PartI, Part - II) MBBS)
Internship Completion Certificate / Certificate indicating likely date of completion of Internship from the Dean.
Registration Certificate (MMC / IMC)
Bonafied Certificate from the Dean (in proforma )
Conduct M.S. Ortho and Diploma courses Entrance Examination-
All the eligible candidates are required to appear for the M.S. Ortho and Diploma courses examination at their own cost.
M.S. Ortho and Diploma courses examination will be conducted at Sancheti Institute for Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation, Pune
M.S. Ortho and Diploma courses papers will be conducted in English Medium.
M.S. Ortho and Diploma courses examination will be of three and half hours duration containing 300 multiple choice questions (MCQs). Questions will be of single best response objective type with four answer options. Each correct response shall be awarded one mark. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers. Scratching, overwriting, tick mark, and multiple answers will be considered as wrong answers and no marks will be awarded to them.
