M.S. Orthopaedics & Diploma In Orthopaedics
Sancheti Institute For Orthopaedics And Rehabilitation is a premier post graduate orthopaedics institute in the country. The institute has been training post graduates in orthopaedics since 1974.
The institute has been recognised by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, Medical Council of India, New Delhi, and University of Pune, for post graduate studies leading M.S. Ortho and D.Ortho.
The institute has extensive training facilities in orthopaedics, traumatology, joint replacement surgery, arthroscopy surgery, spinal surgery, hand surgery and management of poly trauma.
Eligibility Criteria For M.S. Ortho And D.Ortho
Candidate must be an Indian National. Nationality Certificate issued by District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate or Chief Metropolitan Magistrate / valid passport shall constitute the proof of nationality.
A candidate who has passed final M.B.B.S. examination from a recognised medical college included in the schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and situated in Maharashtra, affiliated to Non - Agricultural Universities established under Maharashtra University Act, 1994 or the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Act, 1998 and who has obtained full registration either from the Medical Council of India or Maharashtra Medical Council after completing one year compulsory rotating internship will be eligible to appear for M.S. Ortho and Diploma courses.
The full / permanent MCI / MMC registration is a condition precedent for appearing for M.S. Ortho and Diploma courses and proof should be enclosed.
All candidates will have to submit the documentary proof, from the Principal / Dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of internship along with the application, failing which the application shall be rejected.
The candidate, who was admitted to the college / Institution which is now affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences will be eligible till such time they are awarded the degrees by the University established under Maharashtra University Act, 1994.
However, the candidates who are domicile of Maharashtra, who got admission under 15% quota for All India Entrance Examination for MBBS course and who have obtained the degree from a University situated out side the State of Maharashtra will also be eligible for M.S. Ortho and Diploma courses. Such candidate should submit certificate from the Dean of respective college stating that the candidate was admitted under 15% AIEE quota for MBBS course, certificate of Domicile of Maharashtra.Candidates from Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune who have passed / will pass the Final MBBS Examination from Pune University only, will be elilgible to appear for M.S. Ortho and Diploma courses..
Candidates who have completed terms for postgraduate diploma course will be eligible for M.S. Ortho and Diploma courses for admission to postgraduate degree registration in the same subject only.

History
The Sancheti Institute College of Physiotherapy was started in the year 1995.
It began as a Diploma in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation (DPT &R). In a span of two years, the institution was recognized by and affiliated to the prestigious university of Pune, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences & The Indian Association of Physiotherapists. The Diploma was hence converted into a comprehensive full time Bachelor's Degree of Four years and six months which is inclusive of 6 months internship training. Now the college is running Four years and six months degree course under Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. The College is also conducting three years Master of Physiotherapy course under Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.

Sancheti Institute College of Physiotherapy (SICOP) is one of the leading Physiotherapy colleges in Maharashtra & India. It has an intake capacity of 50 students per year and has an adequate infrastructure. It has well furnished A.C. class rooms with its own laboratories to match the teaching standards for both U.G. & P.G. courses backed by competent teaching faculty. It has an attachment with the 200 bedded SIOR hospital & Physiotherapy department.

Hospital Management Education
The Institute conducts a highly comprehensive one-year ‘Post-Graduate Diploma in Hospital Management’ course which is affiliated to the University of Pune. In addition, many other programmes are also conducted here.
We also have the proud distinction of conducting many Hospital Management Programmes on behalf of the World Bank sponsored Maharashtra Health System Development Project (MHSDP) for senior medical professionals of the Government of Maharashtra. 159 Civil Surgeons / Medical Superintendents have attended this course. To add to our success story, 200 matrons of the Government of Maharashtra have also been trained by us under this scheme.

Aim

To train Medical & Non-Medical Graduates in the specialty of the Hospital Administration to meet the growing demand of Hospital Administrator at the middle level of management. |

Duration
A two semester course. Ist Semester from July to December and IInd from January to May. University results are declared in June. Students passed in both semesters have to under go a two months' non stipendiary Internship in Hospitals.

Eligibility
The Eligibility rules for the above Post Graduate Course shall be as under:
Bachelor’s Degree in any Faculty of any Statutory University or Equivalent Diploma awarded by the Board of Technical Education of any State/Central Government.
Post SSC - 3 years Diploma with 2 years experience after passing the Diploma in Pharmacy.
Post HSC – 2 years Diploma with one year experience after passing the Diploma in Pharmacy.
General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) – 3 ½ Years course after HSC conducted by Nursing Council of any State with one year experience after passing GNM course.
