40 Years, lady with complains of upper back pain since 1 month, difficulty in walking, doing daily household work, progressively increased, developed weakness in both lower limbs, could not walk, came to our OPD on stretcher. PATIENT WAS DEVELOPING PARALYSIS
MRI / XRAYS SHOWED- INFECTION IN SPINE CAUSING COMPRESSION TO SPINAL CORD.( PRESSURE OVER THE NERVES SUPPLYING THE LEGS.)
X-RAY DL LATERAL SPINE
Surgery: CLEANING OF THE INFECTION AND PUS + ANTERIOR AND POSTERIOR SEGMENT STABILISATION WITH TITANIUM IMPLANTS.( MRI COMPATIBLE).
AFTER SURGERY patient improved from paralysis and now walking comfortably and independent. Patient is significantly pain free and walking within 4 weeks from surgery.
