Indus Knee Implant has completed its one year of surgical
usage. 153 surgeries have till date been performed using
this implant and many more are in line. |

Mrs. Mattikop from Kolhapur a 74 year old
lady was the first patient to be operated using Indus on
August 20, 2005. This lady had a history of nearly 25 years
of multiple joint pains, unable to walk and was completely
bed ridden. Indus has given her mobility and more importantly
the confidence to live a good quality of life. It was sheer
hard work and patience which has harvested highly rewarding
dividends not only to Dr Sancheti but more for his patients. |

Determining our attention on the cost factor
against quality - Dr Sancheti guarantees that he has not

To celebrate the 1st Anniversary of Indus
Implant Dr K H Sancheti had organized a Free Check Up which
was completely sponsored right from travel expenses to
X Rays and Lab tests for all the Indus operated patients
on August 20, 2006. A ceremonial lunch was also organized
during which a number of patients had food sitting cross
legged. It was indeed a very satisfying moment for everyone
right from the patient to his relative and to Dr Sancheti. |

| Dr N S Laud, senior orthopaedic surgeon from
Mumbai has been encouraging and guiding the Indus project
and he also has conducted Indus trials and is participating
in its clinical studies. |

The
entire Indus Team comprising of Dr K H Sancheti,
Dr Parag Sancheti, Dr Surendra Patil, engineer Mr
Amar Rajadnay who assisted Dr Sancheti in designing
the implant using Autocad, Ms Nalini Kumar, Sister
Nirmala who assist Dr Sancheti in the OT, Mr Madhukar
Gokhale of Manman Surgicals, Mr Parkar & Mr Sonawane
have put in a huge effort to make Indus what it is
today. |
