This minimally invasive one stitch procedure involves inserting a miniature scope or medical instrument through a tiny opening in the skin to examine and /or repair damaged tissue or bone.

The knee is one of the the major weight bearing joints of the lower limb and is prone to various injuries. The injuries may be due to sports or regular accidents. Injuries like Anterior Cruciate Ligament ruptures, meniscal tears, and chondral injuries can be tackled arthroscopically.

The shoulder is the most flexible joint in the body. It allows rotation of the arm through many positions; in front, above, to the side, and behind the body. This flexibility also renders the shoulder susceptible to instability and injury.Common problems that lead to surgery include: Bursitis or Tendinitis Impingement and Partial Rotator Cuff Tears, Fractured Collarbone and Acromioclavicular Joint Separation, Fractured Head of the Humerus (Arm Bone), or Proximal Humerus Fracture, Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis, Arthritis of the shoulder. The surgical unit at Sancheti Institute is integrated with the Musculoskeletal sonography facility with very high diagnostic accuracy.
