Sancheti Institute has been active in Sports Medicine since last 25 years. Dr. K. H. Sancheti established the first Sports Medicine Association of Pune in 1980. Dr. Parag Sancheti too has taken a keen initiative to facilitate sports medicine services to athletes not only locally in Pune, but also national elite athletes.

Sports physiotherapy is a part of the Sancheti Physiotherapy Centre. The services provided to the athletes include:

	Injury Rehabilitation: Acute Management to Return to Play
	Injury Prevention Programs: Core Stability, Proprioception, Flexibility
	Sports Specific Conditioning
	Musculoskeletal Screening and Assessment

We have internationally qualified sports physiotherapists working at our centre to provide state of the art services to the athletes.

Apart from the sports physiotherapy services at the Sancheti Physiotherapy Centre, we also provide daily services at Shivchatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi for national and state athletes. Soon these onsite services will be extended to local clubs and sports training facilities in the Pune city.

Sancheti College of Physiotherapy has also recently started a 1 year Sports Fellowship Program for qualified physiotherapists interested in Sports Physiotherapy.
